Electric Wire Harness

Wire harnesses electronically connect electric / electronic parts and act as nerves and blood vessels for vehicles. It is also a collection (bundle) of multiple electric wires that consist of electric circuits. Aside from electric wires, wire harness components include protection tubes, bundling tapes, terminals and connectors for connecting, fuses for circuit protection, protectors for vibration, noise, dust, and interference, water-resisting grommets, plastic clamps and steel plate brackets to secure them on the cars.

"Harnesses" are originally referred to horse riding equipment. Back in time, the horse driver used the harnesses to transmit the horse power to the cars to run. Today, the leather strings were replaced by wire harnesses to transmit engine power to vehicles to run.
